In April 2006 Christies in London held the auction Silver and Plate, Portrait Miniatures, Objects of Vertu and Icons, which included the work Ferdinand (1793-1875), Emperor of Austria 1835-1848, in white coat and wearing the jewel of the Order of the Golden Fleece suspended from a red ribbon about his neck, the sash and breast-star of the Imperial Austrian Order of Maria Theresa, and other orde by Robert Theer. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit [Tsar Alexander II of Russia (1818-1881), in black uniform with silver-embroidered red collar and silver epaulettes, wearing the blue moiré sash and breast-star of the Imperial Russi
