The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,062.50 (€ 1,277.54), 33% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Robert Leman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Llandudno Bay, North Wales in July 2011 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,324.65).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.062,50 (€ 1.277,54) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Leman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Llandudno Bay, North Wales im Juli 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.324,65).
