A top price for Robert Humblot - as previously expected
The work Les Baux by Robert Humblot was sold in the IMPRESSIONIST, MODERN & POST WAR ART auction at Christies in London in April 2001. The price achieved of GBP 4,465.00 (€ 7,198.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Les Baux is the most expensive artwork by Robert Humblot that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Les Baux von Robert Humblot wurde im April 2001 in der Auktion IMPRESSIONIST, MODERN & POST WAR ART bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.465,00 (€ 7.198,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Les Baux das teuerste Kunstwerk von Robert Humblot, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
