Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Les Toucans - 1950 by Robert Humblot was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art auction at Artcurial in April 2015. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,380.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Humblot - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Les Baux, which sold at auction in April 2001 for GBP 4,465.00 (€ 7,198.14).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.380,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 3.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Robert Humblot mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Les Baux beobachtet, die im April 2001 für GBP 4.465,00 (€ 7.198,14) versteigert wurde.
