Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Printemps Aux Baux, 1961 by Robert Humblot was sold in the Modern Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in December 2006. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,083.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Humblot - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Les Baux, which sold at auction in April 2001 for GBP 4,465.00 (€ 7,198.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Printemps Aux Baux, 1961 von Robert Humblot wurde im Dezember 2006 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 3.083,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Robert Humblot mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Les Baux beobachtet, die im April 2001 für GBP 4.465,00 (€ 7.198,14) versteigert wurde.
