Admittedly, works by Robert Dodd have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Greenland Whale Fishery in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 88,800.00 (€ 131,870.78).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.915,15) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Dodd auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Greenland Whale Fishery im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 88.800,00 (€ 131.870,78).
