The work Relief With A Mother And Children by Robert Anning Bell was sold in the The Fine Art Society: 142 Years on New Bond Street auction at Sothebys in London in February 2019. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,561.76). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Anning Bell - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Four Reliefs: A Mermaid; The Fortune Teller; And The Ball Of Wool (Two Linked Designs), which sold at auction in September 2021 for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,270.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Relief With A Mother And Children von Robert Anning Bell wurde im Februar 2019 in der Auktion The Fine Art Society: 142 Years on New Bond Street bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.561,76) einen neuen Besitzer.
