In September 2021 Christies held the auction An Aesthetic Odyssey: The Peter Rose and Albert Gallichan Collection, which included the work Two Reliefs: Charity; And Mother And Children by Robert Anning Bell. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,908.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Robert Anning Bell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Four Reliefs: A Mermaid; The Fortune Teller; And The Ball Of Wool (Two Linked Designs) in September 2021 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,270.28).
