Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Suicide Painting XXI by Rob Pruitt for USD 18,900.00 (€ 16,094.69). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rob Pruitt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 6:20Pm, Late Summer in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 315,000.00 (€ 242,531.57).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Suicide Painting XXI von Rob Pruitt für USD 18.900,00 (€ 16.094,69) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rob Pruitt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 6:20Pm, Late Summer im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 315.000,00 (€ 242.531,57).
