Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Burning Ashes by Rita Ackermann was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,920.03). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rita Ackermann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Water Lilies in Chalk V, which sold at auction in September 2018 for USD 115,500.00 (€ 99,380.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Burning Ashes von Rita Ackermann kam im Juli 2021 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 21.250,00 (€ 24.920,03) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Rita Ackermann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Water Lilies in Chalk V beobachtet, die im September 2018 für USD 115.500,00 (€ 99.380,49) versteigert wurde.
