This artwork by Rinko Kawauchi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in October 2008. In the Saturday@Phillips auction, the work without title sold for USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,168.43) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Rinko Kawauchi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Aila, 2004 in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 11,500.00 (€ 13,904.36).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Rinko Kawauchi erzielte im Oktober 2008 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Saturday@Phillips wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.168,43) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rinko Kawauchi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Aila, 2004 im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.500,00 (€ 13.904,36).
