It achieved a price of EUR 31,250.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rik Wouters achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Femme En Forêt, Chapeau Bleu À La Main, Bras Levé in June 2018 with an auction result of GBP 1,210,000.00 (€ 1,367,506.21).

Die Arbeit Femme Devant Le Camp De Zeist von Rik Wouters wurde im März 2018 in der Auktion Œuvres sur Papier bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 31.250,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rik Wouters erzielen.
