This artwork by Rik Wouters achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in March 2019. In the Œuvres sur Papier auction, the work Deux Croquis De Nel Et Chat - Recto Quatre Croquis De Nel - Verso sold for EUR 9,750.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rik Wouters achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Femme En Forêt, Chapeau Bleu À La Main, Bras Levé in June 2018 with an auction result of GBP 1,210,000.00 (€ 1,367,506.21).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Rik Wouters erzielte im März 2019 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Œuvres sur Papier wurde die Arbeit Deux Croquis De Nel Et Chat - Recto Quatre Croquis De Nel - Verso für EUR 9.750,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rik Wouters erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Femme En Forêt, Chapeau Bleu À La Main, Bras Levé im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.210.000,00 (€ 1.367.506,21).
