Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Campagne Hollandaise - Recto La Famille - Verso by Rik Wouters was sold in the Œuvres sur Papier auction at Sothebys in Paris in March 2018. The price achieved of EUR 4,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rik Wouters achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Femme En Forêt, Chapeau Bleu À La Main, Bras Levé in June 2018 with an auction result of GBP 1,210,000.00 (€ 1,367,506.21).

Die Arbeit Campagne Hollandaise - Recto La Famille - Verso von Rik Wouters wurde im März 2018 in der Auktion Œuvres sur Papier bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rik Wouters erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Femme En Forêt, Chapeau Bleu À La Main, Bras Levé im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.210.000,00 (€ 1.367.506,21).
