Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Rik Wouters achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in March 2018. In the Œuvres sur Papier auction, the work Femme Couchée (Recto-Verso) sold for EUR 13,750.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rik Wouters achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Femme En Forêt, Chapeau Bleu À La Main, Bras Levé in June 2018 with an auction result of GBP 1,210,000.00 (€ 1,367,506.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Rik Wouters erzielte im März 2018 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Œuvres sur Papier wurde die Arbeit Femme Couchée (Recto-Verso) für EUR 13.750,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rik Wouters erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Femme En Forêt, Chapeau Bleu À La Main, Bras Levé im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.210.000,00 (€ 1.367.506,21).
