Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dark Cityscape, 1997 by Rick Amor was sold in the Important Australian Art auction at Bonhams in April this year. The price achieved of AUD 6,150.00 (€ 3,686.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rick Amor achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Australian Evening By The Sea in August 2007 with an auction result of AUD 90,000.00 (€ 53,817.90).

Die Arbeit Dark Cityscape, 1997 von Rick Amor wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Important Australian Art bei Bonhams versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 6.150,00 (€ 3.686,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rick Amor erzielen.
