Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2009 Sothebys in Melbourne held the auction Important Australian Art, which included the work Australian The Aunt'S House by Rick Amor. The price achieved of AUD 66,000.00 (€ 38,802.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by Rick Amor have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in August 2007 the work Australian Evening By The Sea was auctioned for AUD 90,000.00 (€ 53,817.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August 2009 führte Sothebys in Melbourne die Auktion Important Australian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Australian The Aunt'S House von Rick Amor zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 66.000,00 (€ 38.802,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Rick Amor konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im August 2007 die Arbeit Australian Evening By The Sea für AUD 90.000,00 (€ 53.817,90) versteigert.
