In October 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Collector, Dealer, Connoisseur: The Vision of Richard L. Feigen, which included the work An Italian river scene, with the Temple of Clitumnus and ruins, two figures and cows by Richard Wilson. The price achieved of USD 52,920.00 (€ 45,810.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00.
