In the Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours Including Works from the Collection of Jean Bonna auction, the work Villa Negroni, Rome sold for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,175.88) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Wilson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The White Monk in January 2001 with an auction result of USD 391,000.00 (€ 420,068.76).
