Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Richard Hawkins was auctioned at Phillips in New York in September 2011. It changed hands for a price of USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,111.90) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Richard Hawkins have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Wrath Of The Underworld in September 2015 with an auction result of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 32,163.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Richard Hawkins kam im September 2011 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.111,90) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Richard Hawkins auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Wrath Of The Underworld im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 32.163,14).
