In August 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art | London, which included the work Gingerbread Man by Richard Hawkins. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,134.00 (€ 1,321.11), 26% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Hawkins achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Wrath Of The Underworld in September 2015 with an auction result of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 32,163.14).

Im August 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art | London durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gingerbread Man von Richard Hawkins zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.134,00 (€ 1.321,11) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Hawkins erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Wrath Of The Underworld im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 32.163,14).
