Admittedly, works by Richard Crosse have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of John Crosse (1721-1776), The Artist'S Father, Circa 1770 in December 2019 with an auction result of GBP 52,500.00 (€ 62,048.86).
