In March 2008 Christies in London held the auction Victorian & Traditionalist Pictures, which included the work Returning from a border foray by Richard Beavis. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,636.71), 38% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Richard Beavis - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Halt Of Prince Charles Edward On The Banks Of The Nairne, which sold at auction in June 2011 for GBP 22,500.00 (€ 24,892.07).

Im März 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Victorian & Traditionalist Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Returning from a border foray von Richard Beavis zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.636,71) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Richard Beavis mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Halt Of Prince Charles Edward On The Banks Of The Nairne beobachtet, die im Juni 2011 für GBP 22.500,00 (€ 24.892,07) versteigert wurde.
