The work War - The attack on the baggage train at the battle of Edgehill by Richard Beavis was sold in the British and Continental Watercolours and Original Book Illustrations auction at Christies in London in July 2007. It achieved a price of GBP 1,080.00 (€ 1,604.05), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 54%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Beavis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Halt Of Prince Charles Edward On The Banks Of The Nairne in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 24,892.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 54 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit War - The attack on the baggage train at the battle of Edgehill von Richard Beavis wurde im Juli 2007 in der Auktion British and Continental Watercolours and Original Book Illustrations bei Christies in London versteigert.
