Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work On the hills by Richard Beavis was sold in the British and Victorian including Scottish Paintings auction at Christies in London in March 2004. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 836.50 (€ 1,252.16). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Beavis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Halt Of Prince Charles Edward On The Banks Of The Nairne in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 24,892.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit On the hills von Richard Beavis wurde im März 2004 in der Auktion British and Victorian including Scottish Paintings bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 836,50 (€ 1.252,16) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Beavis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Halt Of Prince Charles Edward On The Banks Of The Nairne im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 24.892,07).
