The price achieved of USD 40,000.00 (€ 34,275.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 35,000.00 – 45,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ricardo Martínez have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Figura Yacente in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 257,000.00 (€ 197,874.96).
