Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Reza Derakshani achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in March last year. In the 20th Century Art / Middle East auction, the work Untitled (from Pomegranate series) sold for GBP 17,640.00 (€ 20,914.21) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Reza Derakshani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in March 2016 with an auction result of USD 221,000.00 (€ 194,029.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Reza Derakshani erzielte im März letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East wurde die Arbeit Untitled (from Pomegranate series) für GBP 17.640,00 (€ 20.914,21) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Reza Derakshani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 221.000,00 (€ 194.029,85).
