Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mud Hunt by Reza Derakshani was sold in the 20th Century Art / Middle East auction at Sothebys in London in March 2021. The price achieved of GBP 30,240.00 (€ 35,524.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 24,000.00 – 45,000.00. Admittedly, works by Reza Derakshani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in March 2016 with an auction result of USD 221,000.00 (€ 194,029.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mud Hunt von Reza Derakshani wurde im März 2021 in der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 30.240,00 (€ 35.524,21) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 24.000,00 – 45.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Reza Derakshani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 221.000,00 (€ 194.029,85).
