Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Reza Derakshani could be acquired at Sothebys in London in March 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th Century Art / Middle East auction, the work i-iv) Untitled changed hands for GBP 1,890.00 (€ 2,220.26) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Reza Derakshani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March 2016 with an auction result of USD 221,000.00 (€ 194,029.85).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Reza Derakshani konnte im März 2021 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East wechselte die Arbeit i-iv) Untitled für GBP 1.890,00 (€ 2.220,26) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Reza Derakshani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 221.000,00 (€ 194.029,85).
