This artwork by Reza Derakshani achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in February last year. In the Middle Eastern Art Online Sale auction, the work Dot Hunt sold for GBP 22,750.00 (€ 27,199.06) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Reza Derakshani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in March 2016 with an auction result of USD 221,000.00 (€ 194,029.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 90 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Reza Derakshani erzielte im Februar letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Middle Eastern Art Online Sale wurde die Arbeit Dot Hunt für GBP 22.750,00 (€ 27.199,06) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Reza Derakshani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 221.000,00 (€ 194.029,85).
