Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fleur miroir by René Guiette was sold in the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2003. The price achieved of EUR 836.50 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 700.00 – 900.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by René Guiette achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Homme Et Femme Au Fauteuil Gris Ou Le Fauteuil Gris in October 2018 with an auction result of EUR 27,500.00.
