Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2009 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art, which included the work La lecture: a man reading by René Guiette. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 5,625.00. Admittedly, works by René Guiette have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Homme Et Femme Au Fauteuil Gris Ou Le Fauteuil Gris in October 2018 with an auction result of EUR 27,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2009 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit La lecture: a man reading von René Guiette zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 5.625,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von René Guiette auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Homme Et Femme Au Fauteuil Gris Ou Le Fauteuil Gris im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 27.500,00.
