In December 2008 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Twentieth Century Art, which included the work Composition by René Guiette. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,250.00 41% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by René Guiette achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Homme Et Femme Au Fauteuil Gris Ou Le Fauteuil Gris in October 2018 with an auction result of EUR 27,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 41 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2008 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Twentieth Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition von René Guiette zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.250,00 und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von René Guiette erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Homme Et Femme Au Fauteuil Gris Ou Le Fauteuil Gris im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 27.500,00.
