Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Oiseau by René Guiette was auctioned at Bonhams in June this year. The price achieved of EUR 1,024.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by René Guiette achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Homme Et Femme Au Fauteuil Gris Ou Le Fauteuil Gris in October 2018 with an auction result of EUR 27,500.00.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.024,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von René Guiette erzielen.
