Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Win Win by Redy Rahadian was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2011. It changed hands for a price of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 5,431.48) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 45,000.00 – 65,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Redy Rahadian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Warrior, which sold at auction in October 2008 for HKD 175,000.00 (€ 17,800.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Win Win von Redy Rahadian wurde im April 2011 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 5.431,48) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 45.000,00 – 65.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Redy Rahadian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Warrior beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für HKD 175.000,00 (€ 17.800,82) versteigert wurde.
