This artwork by Redy Rahadian achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2008. In the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction, the work Warrior sold for HKD 175,000.00 (€ 17,800.82) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. This high result makes Warrior the most expensive artwork by Redy Rahadian that we have observed at auctions so far.
