Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Reconstruction Ii by Redy Rahadian was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. The price achieved of HKD 47,500.00 (€ 5,549.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Redy Rahadian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Warrior, which sold at auction in October 2008 for HKD 175,000.00 (€ 17,800.82).

Die Arbeit Reconstruction Ii von Redy Rahadian kam im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 47.500,00 (€ 5.549,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Redy Rahadian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Warrior beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für HKD 175.000,00 (€ 17.800,82) versteigert wurde.
