Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Human Tree by Redy Rahadian was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2012. The price achieved of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 5,846.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Redy Rahadian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Warrior, which sold at auction in October 2008 for HKD 175,000.00 (€ 17,800.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Human Tree von Redy Rahadian wurde im April 2012 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 5.846,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Redy Rahadian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Warrior beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für HKD 175.000,00 (€ 17.800,82) versteigert wurde.
