In May 2000 Christies in Los Angeles held the auction California, Western and American Paintings, which included the work Prismatic Figuration by Raymond Jonson. The »bidding war« ended at USD 37,600.00 (€ 40,308.75), 50% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Raymond Jonson; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Oil No. 10 sold at auction in November 2007 with the realized price of USD 67,000.00 (€ 45,615.47).

Im Mai 2000 führte Christies in Los Angeles die Auktion California, Western and American Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Prismatic Figuration von Raymond Jonson zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 37.600,00 (€ 40.308,75) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Raymond Jonson; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Oil No. 10 im November 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 67.000,00 (€ 45.615,47).
