The work Oil No. 12 by Raymond Jonson was sold in the Western Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in April last year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,200.00 (€ 9,680.17), 28% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Raymond Jonson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Oil No. 10 in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 67,000.00 (€ 45,615.47).

Die Arbeit Oil No. 12 von Raymond Jonson wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Western Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.200,00 (€ 9.680,17) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Raymond Jonson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Oil No. 10 im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 67.000,00 (€ 45.615,47).
