The auction ended at the price of EUR 15,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raymond Hains achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans Titre, 1967 in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 334,584.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Décollage. von Raymond Hains wurde im Mai 2014 in der Auktion Auktionen 222-228 - Zeitgenössische Kunst bei Grisebach versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 15.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 12.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raymond Hains erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sans Titre, 1967 im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 334.584,00.
