Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Saffa, Omaggio a Mondrian e a de Chirico by Raymond Hains was sold in the 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale auction at Christies in Milan in December last year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 20,160.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raymond Hains achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans Titre, 1967 in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 334,584.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Saffa, Omaggio a Mondrian e a de Chirico von Raymond Hains wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres in der Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 20.160,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raymond Hains erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sans Titre, 1967 im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 334.584,00.
