Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ravinder Reddy could be acquired at Sothebys in London in June 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art auction, the work Untitled (Head) changed hands for GBP 31,250.00 (€ 36,474.35) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 35,000.00 – 45,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ravinder Reddy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Family in March 2013 with an auction result of USD 341,000.00 (€ 266,073.66).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ravinder Reddy konnte im Juni 2013 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art wechselte die Arbeit Untitled (Head) für GBP 31.250,00 (€ 36.474,35) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 35.000,00 – 45.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ravinder Reddy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Family im März 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 341.000,00 (€ 266.073,66).
