Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art, which included this untitled work by Ravinder Reddy. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 35,280.00 (€ 38,901.94), 18% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Ravinder Reddy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Family in March 2013 with an auction result of USD 341,000.00 (€ 266,073.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ravinder Reddy zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 35.280,00 (€ 38.901,94) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ravinder Reddy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Family im März 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 341.000,00 (€ 266.073,66).
