Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ravinder Reddy could be acquired at Sothebys in Mumbai in November 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Boundless: India auction, the work Untitled (Head Of A Woman) changed hands for INR 4,000,000.00 (€ 50,516.65) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of INR 5,000,000.00 – 7,000,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ravinder Reddy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Family in March 2013 with an auction result of USD 341,000.00 (€ 266,073.66).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ravinder Reddy konnte im November 2018 bei Sothebys in Mumbai für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Boundless: India wechselte die Arbeit Untitled (Head Of A Woman) für INR 4.000.000,00 (€ 50.516,65) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von INR 5.000.000,00 – 7.000.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ravinder Reddy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Family im März 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 341.000,00 (€ 266.073,66).
