Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Bonhams in Brussels held the auction Prints and Multiples, which included the work Empreinte by Raoul Ubac. The price achieved of EUR 192.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 150.00 – 250.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raoul Ubac achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Triomphe De La Stérilité Ou Penthesilée in October 2012 with an auction result of USD 104,500.00 (€ 80,645.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Brüssel die Auktion Prints and Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Empreinte von Raoul Ubac zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 192,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 150,00 – 250,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raoul Ubac erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Triomphe De La Stérilité Ou Penthesilée im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 104.500,00 (€ 80.645,16).
