In December this year Artcurial held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Sans titre by Raoul Ubac. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 9,184.00 31% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Raoul Ubac have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Triomphe De La Stérilité Ou Penthesilée in October 2012 with an auction result of USD 104,500.00 (€ 80,645.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 31 % übertroffen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans titre von Raoul Ubac zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 9.184,00 und damit 31% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Raoul Ubac auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Triomphe De La Stérilité Ou Penthesilée im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 104.500,00 (€ 80.645,16).
