Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Gampelaere omgeving by Raoul de Keyser was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in July 2020. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 57,500.00 (€ 64,136.87), 15% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Raoul de Keyser - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Kalklijn (Chalk Line), which sold at auction in November 2019 for EUR 237,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Gampelaere omgeving von Raoul de Keyser wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 57.500,00 (€ 64.136,87) und damit 15% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Raoul de Keyser mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Kalklijn (Chalk Line) beobachtet, die im November 2019 für EUR 237.500,00 versteigert wurde.
