Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Raoul de Keyser was auctioned at Phillips in London in April last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 47,880.00 (€ 57,095.21) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Raoul de Keyser have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Kalklijn (Chalk Line) in November 2019 with an auction result of EUR 237,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Raoul de Keyser kam im April letzten Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 47.880,00 (€ 57.095,21) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Raoul de Keyser auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Kalklijn (Chalk Line) im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 237.500,00.
