Auction result well in line with expectations
In September this year Phillips in 19 - held the auction Heatwave: Online Auction, which included the work Across (3) by Raoul de Keyser. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,302.00 (€ 3,302.00) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raoul de Keyser achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kalklijn (Chalk Line) in November 2019 with an auction result of EUR 237,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Phillips in 19 - die Auktion Heatwave: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Across (3) von Raoul de Keyser zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.302,00 (€ 3.302,00) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raoul de Keyser erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Kalklijn (Chalk Line) im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 237.500,00.
